Jill Harrison

Jill has been teaching ballet at The Dara Pierce Ballet Academy since 2013! 

She started her dance training at a young age when she attended ballet, modern and tap dance classes. She has completed vocational level ballet examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance up to and including Advanced 1 level, as well as Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing modern dance examinations.

Jill continued to pursue her passion and love for dance by completing her ballet teaching studies with the Royal Academy of Dance London. She was successfully awarded registered teacher status with the RAD and is fully qualified to enter candidates for Royal Academy of Dance examinations.

Jill has over ten years teaching experience with age groups three years old up to adults, including both RAD and ISTD syllabus levels from Pre Primary to Intermediate level.

She has completed a Silver Swans certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance, and has experience teaching movement classes in various pre school, primary and secondary level schools around Ireland.

Jill also completed the Progressing Ballet Technique course in 2021.

Jill is Garda Vetted, holds a valid First Aid Certificate and attends regular CPD (continuous professional development) dance courses.
